After over a decade, Anne Hathaway has extended an apology to reporter Kjersti Flaa for her behaviour during a 2012 interview.

October 9, 2024- Kjersti Flaa, a reporter who has recently been publishing her cringe celebrity interviews, has recently revealed that actress Anne Hathaway has apologized to her for the way she acted in an interview from 2012.

On October 5th, Flaa uploaded on YouTube one of her old interviews from 2012 where she asked actors during the press tour for “Les Misérables” to sing their answers back to her.
“It was a silly thing, but it was fun. It was a musical after all and most actors played along with it. Hugh Jackman was super nice,” Flaa began.
When it came to Hathaway’s interview, Flaa explained she was rather dismissive towards her and seemingly annoyed with Flaa’s questions.
In the interview, Flaa asked Hathaway if she sang the question to her that Hathaway could answer the question while singing.
“Well, I won’t be doing that, but you’re more than welcome to sing,” Hathaway replied.
Flaa then asked, “Do you feel that love was more passionate back then or people would sacrifice more for love than we do today?”
“No,” Hathaway replied with no expression.
“Do you remember your first crush?” Flaa asked.
Once again, Hathaway replied, “No.”
Anne Hathaway Apologizes
“Yesterday, I did receive an email from Anne Hathaway’s publicist in which a message was forwarded from Anne Hathaway,” Flaa said.
Flaa explained that she wasn’t expecting Hathaway to reach out and that she did something “pretty amazing.”
“She sent me a long email explaining to me what she was going when she was doing this interview and she apologized for giving me an awful interview,” Flaa said.
“It was so touching to me, talking about it makes me teary eyed, and I’m so grateful that she did that. It was a personal note, and we decided that I wouldn’t share exactly what was in the email,” Flaa continued.
“I was going to ask you to do the first question in singing – like I’d sing it to you, and you can sing back the answer,” Flaa asked.

Flaa recently went viral after she released an old interview with Blake Lively, where Flaa congratulates Lively on her baby bump and Lively replies, “Well congrats on your little bump.”
Flaa wasn’t pregnant at the time of the interview and the clip itself went viral after fans criticized Lively’s demeanour and overall rudeness.
