Star Receiver Davante Adams has been Traded to the New York Jets
October 15, 2024- ESPN reported today that Raiders star Davante Adams has been traded to the New York Jets for a third-round pick. The aging star will be reunited with his former quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The stud wideout was brought to Vegas originally to reunite with his college quarterback, Derek Carr. But after a slew of poor decisions by the Raiders front office… their reunion was short-lived.
Carr was cut during the off season by, now unemployed, Josh Mcdaniels. Mcdaniels would be fired later that season and replaced by current head coach Antonio Pierce. Adams then was forced to play with rookie Aiden O’Connell through a rough second half of the season.
Then comes this year. With the Raiders off to yet another rough start, Adams was seen clearly frustrated with the quality of play and his volume of touches on the offense. So after he informed the front office he wished to be traded he was suddenly sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Many teams were lining up to acquire the multi-Pro Bowl receiver but the Jets managed to come out on top. Rodgers and Adams will finally be reunited after the few years they spent apart.
It seemed that Adams couldn’t wait to be out of Vegas as he made a surprise appearance during an interview on the Pat Mcafee Show with the Jets quarterback.
