Kanye West Claims He Made $40 Million After Controversial Remarks and Swastika T-Shirts

West Sparks Outrage Again

February 18, 2025: Kanye West has once again ignited controversy, claiming he made $40 million the day after posting anti-Semitic remarks and selling Swastika-themed T-shirts on his online platform. His statements, which included expressing admiration for Adolf Hitler and declaring, “I’m a Nazi,” led to widespread backlash.

Despite the outrage, the rapper insisted that his comments and actions proved his independence, stating that no one could “stop, extort, or threaten” him into changing his stance.

Kanye’s Bold Financial Claims

Following his inflammatory social media rant, West took to X to boast about his earnings, saying, “I will write this more poetically in a bit cause right now I’m finishing my verse for Game’s album. The idea of being Jew-proof is I said all these politically incorrect things, and nobody was able to stop me, extort me, or threaten me into changing anything.”

He then claimed, “And I made 40 million the next day between my different businesses. There’s a lot of Jewish people I know and love and still work with. The point I made and showed is that I am not under Jewish control anymore.”

Additionally, he lamented losing key members of his Yeezy design team due to the controversy, mentioning that one of his favorite designers, Simon, and his lead stylist, Malcolm, had both parted ways with him.

Shopify Shuts Down West’s Site

However, the backlash did not stop at public criticism. Shopify, the e-commerce platform hosting West’s Yeezy store, swiftly removed his online shop, taking down the $20 T-shirts marked with the cryptic code “HH-01.”

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) flagged the code as a reference to the Nazi salute, “Heil, Hitler,” which was commonly used under Adolf Hitler’s regime. Shopify confirmed the removal, stating:

“All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms, so we removed them from Shopify.”

West’s Defiant Response

Despite being dropped by Shopify, West continued to lash out, calling the platform’s decision a “major victory” and writing, “I HATE SHOPIFY AND I ALWAYS HAVE.”

While his remarks and actions have once again landed him in controversy, the financial claims he made remain unverified.
