Christian Oliver, Daughters Killed in Plane Crash in Carribean
Baby-sitters Club actor Christian Oliver and his daughters Annik, 12, and Madita, 10 were involved in a plane crash on Jan. 4 according to authorities in the Caribbean.

A heartbreaking tragedy for Christian Oliver’s family as the actor and his two little girls lose their lives on their tropical vacation.
What happened on Jan. 4?
According to reports, the crash occurred near the island of Petit Nevis, authorities confirmed.
Oliver was 51 years old.

Additional information revealed by Caribbean authorities via a Facebook post indicated “difficulties” before crashing into the ocean.
In fact, the small aircraft took off from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm at around 12:11 p.m. for St. Lucia.
The exact cause of the difficulties is unknown at this time; however, officials state they will continue to update the situation as the details emerge.

Subsequent search and rescue were dispatched to the scene at Petit Nevis to search for the passengers,
Unfortunately, all four passengers on board the plane, including the pilot Robert Sachs, did not survive.
The statement from Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force read as follows,
“The aircraft went airborne from the J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm about 12:11 p.m. for St. Lucia as its final destination,” it said.
“Moments after taking off, the aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean.”
“Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to the scene of the incident in their boats to render assistance,
“The SVG Coast Guard was informed and quickly travelled to Paget Farm, Bequia, to lead in the rescue efforts.”

Meanwhile, Oliver’s ex-wife and the mother of Annik and Madita, Jessica Muroz has not yet made a public statement surrounding the tragedy.
The couple have been divorced since 2021.
