Amanza Smith Second Surgery

Amanza Smith updated her fans on her health journey by addressing the second surgery she had to undergo in an Instagram post. Amanza had to experience two surgeries following her osteomyelitis diagnosis.

She opened up about what it means to undergo such an intervention by sharing the message alongside a selfie on the hospital bed.

“Hey guys! Updating all here. I’ll be going in for my second surgery in the next few hours. Part of my spine has completely deteriorated due to the infection and I’ll be getting a new vertebrae and a couple of screws and rods in my spine to replace what has been eaten away from the bacteria.” she captioned the photo.

“This is my short caption version of the entire explanation but it’s enough to let you all know the gist of it all. I am in good spirits and positive that I will come out ? percent after healing ❤️‍? in 3/4 months. Life is a journey.” Smith added. “This is just another part of my already very colorful story and I’m going to use it to inspire others to keep pushing through! Thanking you all in advance for the well wishes, thoughts and prayers. I’ll see you all for an update very soon once the surgery is complete and I’m feeling social media friendly. ❤️‍?♥️??”

Earlier this month, Amanza shared another message with her fans on Instagram in which she explained how doctors diagnosed her with osteomyelitis. According to her post, they initially thought she might have had cancer due to what seemed to be a tumor on an MRI. HOLR breaks it down here.
