Artphere was created in 2006 in Toyooka, Japan, a city which is said to have been connected to the bag industry since mythical times.  The brand was created to fulfill the needs of travelling artists who would bring their sketchbooks over to Toyooka to sketch the beautiful landscape, and were designed to make their trips more functional as well as enjoyable.  The rising brand has won many awards and received high recognition for their designs.
