The new trailer for Captain America, Brave New World is here.

July 15, 2024 The wait is over. We are getting an early glimpse of this latest MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) teaser.

Here is what we know so far.

A Brave New World is the sequel to Captain Marvel, Winter Soldier. This will be the fourth installment in the Captain America franchise. A new character, Red Hulk, is introduced.

Who Is Captain America

Sam Wilson, who was previously Falcon returns and is once again played by Anthony Mackie. Wilson officially becomes the new Captain America. Sam takes up the helm from his friend, the former Captain America, Steve Rogers.

Captain America Brave New World Plot

The teaser begins with Wilson meeting with the newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford, at the White House to discuss his new assignment.

Ross tells Wilson that although they had a rough start, he wants to try to make Captain America an official military position.

Wilson is still skeptical about their relationship and how it’s going to play out. After all, Ross (originally played by William Hurt – Hurt passed away in 2022) had arrested him and his friends in the last installment – Winter Soldier.

Moving forward, the President assures Sam that he wants to work with him. During an international meeting, Wilson’s friend Isaiah, who is an agent colleague betrays him and the President.

Wilson advises President Ross that he believes that his [Ross] inner circle has been compromised.

President Ross tells Wilson that he finds him to be different, not like Steve Rogers. Wilson confirms his sentiments, and confidently agrees, saying “You’re right, I’m not.”

Villian

That leads to Wilson fighting against a new enemy Giancarlo Esposito character yet to be announced and Red Hulk.

Red Hulk is briefly introduced at the end of the trailer. *Spoiler* however, we get to see “Red Hulk” in an earlier part of the clip.

Winter Soldier Returns

Winter Solder is back and this time he will be played by Danny Ramirez.

Captain America A Brave New World opens on February, 14th, 2025.
