Cassius has quickly become one of Toronto’s most talked-about spots for girls’ night out.
With its stylish interiors, high-energy atmosphere, and shareable menu, Cassius delivers a vibrant, buzz-worthy setting that keeps the night moving and turns a girls’ night out into something truly memorable. Take it from experience– it’s the perfect King St destination to celebrate birthdays and beyond!
VIBES
The interior at Cassius truly sets the scene for the ultimate GNO, with a bold, moody design that gives off a glam and lively vibe from the moment you walk in.
Warm lighting, statement finishes, and sleek seating work together to create photo-ready moments, all the while encouraging lingering conversations. The layout also champions group seating, keeping the energy flowing and the vibe social.
PRO TIP: Head to Cassius on the weekend to experience it come alive! Music, DJs and dancing will take your night to the next level. Stay close to their social media (@cassiusonking) for the latest updates!
The atmosphere is iconic in its own way, but the menu is where Cassius really shines. The shareable plates make it perfect for you and your girls to try multiple dishes, sample a variety of flavours, and turn dinner into a fun, communal experience.
GNO DINNER
For our GNO, we loved trying every part of the menu, from apps to mains– so here are our must-tries next time you find yourself at Cassius.
The Ricciola Crudo is a fresh bite and the perfect way to start the night. It features delicately cured hamachi that’s paired with smoky cherry tomatoes, creamy goat cheese, and crunchy pistachios–finished with garlic breadcrumbs for added depth and texture.
Paired with the Insalata Verde–which spotlights baby gem lettuce tossed with cucumber, thinly sliced red onion, and fresh mint, and a bright red wine vinaigrette–these starters are a match made in heaven.
Next up, pizza– of course! We recommend trying a few, since they’re all so delish, but our favourites include the Margherita (a classic with San Marzano tomato dop, fiordilatte, basil, and evoo) and the Patate & Nduja, which offers some sweet heat! This pizza specifically highlights ingredients such as San Marzano tomato dop, provola affumicata ‘nduja, rapini, and roasted potatoes.
When it comes to pasta, our group is obsessed with Cassius’ take on the beloved Rigatoni Carbonara. This dish features Semola rigatoni, “Terre de Siena” guanciale, pecorino egg yolk and black pepper. Plus, there’s an option to add extra fresh truffles (MP). However, every pasta on the menu is definitely worth a try! We have our eyes on the Fusilli Alla Vodka with organic cream, next time we find ourselves on King St!
DRINKS
When it comes to drinks, the Cocktails Della Casa’s Rocco was a crowd pleaser amongst our group. However, you can also count on Cassius to ace classic faves like a spicy margarita or gin martini. We, of course, paired them with our shareable plates to complete the ultimate GNO experience.
While it’s the perfect spot to celebrate any night out with friends, it felt particularly special as the backdrop for my birthday—the buzz of the space, the thoughtful presentation of dishes and drinks, and the energy of everyone around made the celebration feel elevated from start to finish.
As one of my favourite places in the city, Cassius is the kind of place where you can linger, laugh, and create memories that last well beyond the night.
