According to this post on X- formerly known as Twitter- by @TMZ, the DA allegedly released various crime scene photos- including a selfie they say Derek Rosa sent a friend after the murder- in which it is alleged that you can see his hands, which appear to be covered in blood.

As noted in this related article, prosecutors in Dade County, Florida released new disturbing footage showing the 13-year-old teenage boy hovering over his mother as she is sleeping. He allegedly stabbed her to death. The victim reportedly sustained multiple stab wounds to the neck as mentioned in the article, according to the arrest affidavit.

Rosa- who is only 13- is being charged as an adult with first-degree murder for allegedly killing Irina Garcia as she slept. There was also reportedly a baby nearby in the room.
According to this article, prosecutors released new footage that concerned the murder weapon. For instance, footage included a kitchen knife missing the tip, covered in blood and hair, etc. HOLR will not be including that viral footage as they are disturbing.
The incident took place on Oct. 12, 2023, in which footage reportedly showed that the victim was supposedly bed-holding what appears to be her 14-day-old daughter around 10:23 p.m. In another still- later at 11 p.m- a male figure can be seen in the frame in the dark room with his arms outstretched, as noted here.
It is also alleged that Rosa grabbed two guns belonging to his stepfather and planned to die by suicide following the incident. However, this did not occur. This article claims that Rosa could be facing life in jail if convicted of his crimes.
