Donald Trump’s doctor has come forward and revealed the details behind Trump’s ear injury from the attempted assassination. 

July 17, 2024- Donald Trump’s doctor, Dr. Ronny Jackson, has explained the details behind the former president’s ear injury after the attempted assassination on Saturday, July 13.

Jackson, a former U.S. Navy officer, was Trump’s physician during his time in office and continues to treat him today.

Jackson recently went on “The Benny Show” politics podcast, hosted by Benny Johnson, to discuss Trump’s gunshot wound to the ear.

According to Jackson, the bullet went through the top part of Trump’s ear, which tore off flesh and ear cartilage.

Jackson also revealed that Trump did not suffer a concussion and won’t need any special surgery for his ear to heal.

“I bandaged it up pretty good this morning… it’s not a clean cut like you’d get from a knife, so it can bleed easily if disturbed. But we have it dressed up well,” Jackson said.

Trump’s recovery from the shooting seems to be going well, as he appeared at the Republican National Convention on Monday, July 15.

On July 13, Trump survived an attempted assassination at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

The shooter, who has now been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was shot by the U.S. Secret Service after he fired the first couple of rounds.

The Secret Service is now under investigation after the public pointed out the obvious security flaws involved with the rally.

Commentator Candace Owens has also come forward and questioned Trump’s security following the assassination attempt.

“Do you guys actually believe this was a failure in intelligence, all of these Secret Service agents crawling around? They’re trying to now tell us that common sense is a conspiracy. That is the new thing that they’re trying,” Owens said.

“There was a zero percent chance that some random person with a rifle was able to scale a roof, unless there was just an unbelievable failure of intelligence,” Owens continued.
