October 21, 2024– Donald Trump went viral this past weekend after he was spotted working a shift at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s ahead of the 2024 election. Trump, who is a former president of the United States, is running against Kamala Harris to be the next President of the United States.

He took to his social media to share snapshots of the day, which included him working the drive-thru, making french fries, and interacting with customers.

As outlined in this TikTok video posted by user @10newsfirst, Trump has a go-to order from McDonald’s that might surprise you. Although he claims to like “everything” from the fast food company, his favorite order is the fries. “I like every ounce of it, everything. But I do like the french fries,” he said to the press during his supposed shift.

Trump seemingly has a longstanding history with McDonald’s. As outlined in this article by Time, he had staff conduct fast food runs from McDonald’s during his campaign. He also controversially ordered McDonald’s or champion college athletes in 2019.

According to this article from the Times of India, rumors have been circulating about his workday being staged after this alleged notice posted to the McDoanlds he worked at went viral on platforms such as X and Reddit.

Allegedly, the store posted the notice that they would be closed until 4 pm October 20 to accommodate a visit at the request of former president, Donald Trump and his 2024 campaign. This sparked controversy online as the customers who reportedly took their orders from Trump were also supposedly staged. Allegedly, they were vetted beforehand by the Secret Service.
This means that the customers going through the drive-thru were previously made aware of the fact that Trump would be serving them and were not totally shocked by the interaction.
