Gigi Hadid opened up about her experience as young mom to 2-year-old daughter, Khai Malik.

According to People, The Sunday Times’ most recent interview with Gigi Hadid focused on young motherhood and the supermodel’s daughter, Khai Malik. Gigi mentioned she feels “glad to be a young mum” and talked about co-parenting with ex-partner, Zayn Malik. “I’m so glad to be a young mum.” Hadid said. “I always wanted to be a mum, but I was never obsessive about it or [thought that] I was put on this Earth to be a mum.” she continued.

Gigi Hadid, 27, told the outlet that co-parenting with Zayn Malik is done as they focus on “keeping the importance of the child’s happiness at the forefront.”

Gigi Hadid and ex-partner, Zain Malik, share a 2-year-old daughter, Khai Malik. Referring to Khai, the supermodel added that having her was “a blessing”. “I’ve always been quite organized, so having Khai at the time that I did was a blessing,” she said. “She has already given me so much,” Gigi continued.

The model added that she feels “very happy” her daughter gets to spend time with her father as well. As for her professional journey, she focuses on work “when Khai is with her dad. That she can be with both parents makes me very happy.” she added.

During the same interview, Gigi Hadid also addressed the rumors about a potential romantic relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio. “I don’t know how anyone expects anybody they see in the public eye to have any sort of normal dating experience if you tie people [to one another] so quickly.” the model said.

Rumors about a relationship between the model and DiCaprio started shortly after the two met in September 2022 at New York Fashion Week.
