The new Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer was tested under stadium lights and long game days. As a DCC, what qualities do you personally look for in makeup that has to last through both rehearsals and performances?

Personally, I always aim for a full-coverage, long-time wear makeup look, that is built to last. I also look for something that doesn’t crease, and stays in place. As a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, we rehearse and perform for several hours, and I sweat easily, so it’s important for me to be able to trust that my look will remain flawless, even through all of that hard work.

With such high-energy schedules, how do you balance performance-ready makeup with keeping your skin feeling fresh and comfortable?

For me, it’s all about balance! When I’m not dancing, I love to give my skin a break. A thorough morning and evening skincare routine, some red-light therapy, and lots of hydration keeps my skin in tact all season. Never underestimate the power of water and rest either! I’ve learned those a crucial to keep my skin happy and healthy.

What’s your go-to beauty tip for staying camera-ready?

I never leave the house without a lip! Whether that be a liner, a gloss or a lipstick, it pulls my makeup look together, and I never feel complete, or camera ready, without it. I also always add a tap of the Airbrush Flawless Finish powder into my T-Zone before going on camera, to control my shine while keeping my glow.

My favorite thing about the new Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer is how lightweight, yet full-coverage it is. I never want my makeup to feel noticeable or heavy on my skin, and I love that just a swipe of the concealer covers all of the areas that I want to brighten, and blends seamlessly into my makeup look.

How does your beauty routine change on game days versus everyday life? In your opinion, where does a product like this concealer fit into both?

For everyday life, I like to keep my makeup look simple I’ll use concealer in my skin-tone to conceal any blemishes that I prefer to cover up, brush my eyebrows, add a pop of blush or bronzer for some dimension, and I’ll top everything off with a lip gloss! For game days, I would consider my makeup look to be a natural, elevated glam look. I’ll use a full-coverage foundation, a full coverage concealer in a lighter shade to brighten my under eyes and my forehead, and add ample amounts of blush and bronzer, to ensure that my face is stadium-ready. I love to do a Smokey, sparkly eye shadow for my game day look, complete with a little sparkle in the inner corners of my eye and in my water line. I use a 4 step lip combination of all of my favorite Charlotte Tilbury products like the Pillow Talk lip liner in Deep, and the Pillow talk Big Lip Plumpgasm in Medium-Deep. I’ll then make sure my face is locked in with setting spray, and I’m off to take the field! Concealer is vital in both of my makeup routines to not only conceal, but elevate my natural facial features.

As. DCC, confidence is a huge part of performance, so how does feeling good in your skin impact how you show up on the field and off?

Feeling good in my skin is everything to me! When you feel good, you look good, and perform good as well. On the field, feeling confident in my skin and my makeup helps me elevate my performance, and feels like the secret weapon to the magic that is the DCC uniform. Off the field, feeling good in my skin allows me to navigate every journey that life has to offer in full confidence! With or without makeup, how you feel about yourself on the inside, impacts how you present yourself on the outside. Beauty starts from within!
