Katy Perry is in hot water after it was revealed that Dr. Luke produced her new song about women’s empowerment.

June 20, 2024– According to this TikTok video posted by user @michelletok. Perry revealed that her new single, Woman’s World, is coming soon.
However, it was soon discovered that Dr. Luke helped produce the new single, which is all about women’s empowerment. Dr. Luke was famously sued by fellow singer, Ke$sha back in 2014 after it was alleged that he “sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally” abused her since the duo began working together professionally.
In 2023, the pair came forward with a joint statement to claim that they had reached a settlement in the case. Details of the settlement were not disclosed.
Now, Perry is getting backlash online for working with Dr. Luke on this new single although it seems as though she has not come forward to address claims.
