Kenneth Darlington video is trending and here’s why.

American Lawyer Kenneth Darlington, 77, has been arrested in Panama following news that he allegedly shot two mining protestors taking part in an environmental protest, who were blocking a road.

As mentioned in the article, Abdiel Díaz Chávez and Iván Rodríguez Mendoza both died following the incident. One died at the scene while the other passed away at a medical facility.

Who is Kenneth Darlington?

Darlington is an American lawyer, as noted here. As seen in video footage noted in this article, Darlington allegedly walked up to the roadblock on a section of the Pan-American Highway in which he engaged in a fiery argument with a group of men. Darlington then allegedly opened fire in front of photographers and television crews filming the protest in which he fatally shot Abdiel Díaz Chávez and Iván Rodríguez Mendoza during the altercation.

As mentioned here, Darlington was previously convicted of illegal possession of a firearm. Darlington is reportedly a Panamanian-born US citizen.

As noted in this article, Darlington was allegedly being charged with murder and illegal possession of a gun. However, it is unclear whether the 77-year-old could avoid going to jail because of his age, as noted here.
