Kim Kardashian talks all things skin with Dr. Thais Aliabadi on the “She MD” podcast.

July 18, 2024- Kim Kardashian recently shared that her son has a rare skin condition, known as vitiligo, on the “She MD” podcast on July 15.

Kardashian was a guest on “She MD,” hosted by world-renowned OBGYN, Dr. Thais Aliabadi, and women’s advocate, Mary Alice Haney.

While talking about her own battle with psoriasis, Kardashian explained that vitiligo is now “under control” with her son.

Kardashian did not specify which son of hers, Saint or Psalm, has the condition.

According to the National Institutes of Health, vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes patches of skin to lose pigment or colour.

“It came from my mom, went to me, and I passed it on in a different form to my son, who has mild vitiligo,” Kardashian said.

“I didn’t know anything about it, but I had to learn. Finding out it’s hereditary and understanding it better has been a blessing,” she continued.

Kardashian also mentioned that her children have small patches of eczema, which is a common skin condition that causes patches of dry skin.

Kardashian’s brand, SKIMS, has just launched the “SKIMS for Team USA” capsule.

The limited-edition line features loungewear, swimwear, intimates, and sleepwear for TEAM USA athletes participating in the Paris Olympics and Paralympics Games.

According to Forbes, Kardashian’s net worth is $1.7 billion.

The majority of her fortune comes from her stake in SKIMS, which was valued at $4 billion in 2023.
