Bachelor Nation’s Lace Morris has welcomed her first child with Ryan John Nelson. The 34-year-old former Bachelor contestant took to Instagram Story to share her excitement, exclaiming, “Holy s–t, I’m a mom,” and describing the experience as “one of the most special/craziest experiences ever.”

Their son, Liam Lee, was introduced to the world by Morris and Nelson, marking a joyous milestone in their lives. Morris initially gained recognition in Bachelor Nation in 2016 as a contestant on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor. She later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3, where she became engaged to Grant Kemp, although the relationship ended shortly after the season finale. After a break from the franchise, Morris returned for Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 in 2022 but left the show without a partner.
Morris announced her pregnancy in August 2023, sharing the news with a playful caption and a heartwarming photo featuring her dog, Lola, and baby-themed accessories. In September 2023, she revealed the gender of their baby boy, expressing her joy at becoming a “boy mom.”
Throughout her pregnancy journey, Morris kept her fans updated on social media, sharing pictures of her growing baby bump and expressing her awe and appreciation for the experience. Despite challenges like having an anterior placenta, which can make it harder to feel the baby’s movements, Morris embraced the changes in her body and found the process beautiful.
While Morris initially kept her relationship with Nelson private, she shared glimpses of their romance in October 2023, referring to him affectionately as “baby daddy” and showcasing their bond in intimate photos.
