HOLR has the latest news,  In a shocking and tragic turn of events, Mamie Laverock, a beloved actor from the popular series ‘When Calls the Heart,’ is currently on life support after a devastating accident. According to reports, Laverock fell from a fifth-story balcony, resulting in critical injuries.

Mamie Laverock, the 19-year-old actress renowned for her portrayal of Rosaleen Sullivan in multiple episodes of the cherished Hallmark Channel series “When Calls the Heart,” now finds herself in a critical condition, supported by life-saving measures following a tragic incident.

According to details disclosed on a GoFundMe platform organized by her parents, Rob and Nicole Compton, Mamie endured a tumultuous two-week period of intensive medical care within the hospital premises due to an undisclosed medical emergency. However, in a heartbreaking turn of events, Mamie was being escorted from a secure section of the hospital when she tragically plummeted from a fifth-story balcony walkway.  This page also requested people to help her and wrote- “We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories. She sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.” (here and here)

On Saturday, May 11th, Nicole, Mamie’s mother rushed to Winnipeg to aid Mamie, who was grappling with a medical crisis. Nicole’s swift action proved pivotal in saving Mamie’s life, ensuring she received timely assistance. Mamie was promptly admitted to a hospital in Winnipeg before being transferred to a facility here in Vancouver. While the extent of her recovery remains uncertain, there are encouraging signs of improvement, offering a glimmer of hope during this challenging time,” the GoFundMe statement conveys.  Her parents said-

At present, the fundraiser has amassed over $14,500 in contributions, demonstrating the overwhelming support and generosity extended towards Mamie Laverock’s journey to recovery.  So many people prayed for Mamie for early recovery and they also helped her financially by contributing to a GoFundMe page.
