The London-native brand recently debuted a new location in New York City, which features everything you could hope for and more in a mini-golf course, including gourmet street food, delicious cocktails, and crazy courses- all situated at the iconic Virgin Hotel, NYC.

Swingers – The beginning
Crazy golf turned out to be a crazy good idea for Swingers co-founders and CEOs, Matt Grech-Smith and Jeremy Simmonds, who initially bonded over creating and marketing events and brands. This shared experience between the two eventually inspired the team to open their first venture for the Swingers brand in 2014 – a pop-up that lasted for 5 months at Factory 7 in London’s Shoreditch.
After a successful pop-up, the duo set out to create a permanent Swingers site. Two years later, in May of 2016, a Swingers location opened in London and consisted of 2 nine-hole crazy golf courses, 5 bars, and 3 street food vendors. The location was extremely popular which led to the development of a second location in the West End in March of 2018. This venue had a seaside theme and featured two nine-hole courses, 4 bars, 4 street food vendors, and the opportunity to book private spaces.
Coming off the heels of two successful London venues, the original sites in the West End and City also unveiled a larger extension plan earlier this year. As a result, Swingers plans to open three locations in 2023 and five locations in 2024 and 2025.
Fast-forward to 2022, the brand is currently thriving in the Big Apple with a new NYC location!

The brand takes NYC by storm with Swingers NoMad
From the UK to the US, Swingers has officially crossed the pond as an elevated experience offering the ultimate in mini-golf. Upon its debut in the US, Swingers opened its first location in Washington, D.C. last year, which the brand’s new audience took a liking to.
As a result, Swingers’ has landed in NYC with a new venue – located in the heart of Manhattan at the Virgin Hotel – which made its official debut in June 2022. Swingers NoMad features a series of crazy golf courses that are set around the site’s focal point – a lavish clubhouse – in which attendees are transported to a 1920s English country golf club through intricate details and expertly-crafted cocktails.
Swingers is NYC’s first mini-golfing experience that specifically caters to the 21+ crowd. In this sense, guests will enter a new era of mini-golf as they are served eclectic cocktails by caddies and have the opportunity to listen to live DJs. This is so much more than just mini-golf.

The brand’s latest venue stretches 23,000 square feet and features impressive 20-foot-high ceilings. The space also includes three nine-hole crazy-golf courses, four gourmet street food brands, six cocktail bars, and a series of private rooms that are available to book.

As a result, Swingers NoMad has partnered with gourmet NYC food vendors: Sauce Pizzeria, Miznon, Fonda, and Mah Ze Dahr Bakery to offer guests a delicious dining experience during their rounds.
