However, Companion has caught the attention of fans. Advertising itself as a twisted love story with the tagline from “the studio that brought you The Notebook … and the creators of Barbarian.” The film stars Sophie Thatcher in the lead role, and Drew Hancock directs.

Upcoming A24 Films

A24 has gained a massive following for its unique film releases, and Death Of A Unicorn promises to be no exception. According to Harper’s Bazaar, the film follows a father and daughter played by Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega, who hit a real unicorn while going to a weekend retreat. However, chaos ensues as the father’s billionaire boss sees a business opportunity in the unicorn’s curative abilities, leading to the unicorn’s very angry parents showing up. The film is written and directed by Alex Scharfman.

During a year full of action, horror and fantasy we could use some lighthearted romance. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Bridget Jones Mad About The Boy has Renée Zellweger reprise her role as Bridget Jones. In addition, the film follows a newly widowed Jones who finds comfort in the arms of a younger man. The film also stars Leo Woodall as the love interest. Meanwhile, Michael Morris directs.

 

 Upcoming Comedy Movies

Adam Sandler first announced the production of Happy Gilmore 2 through a comedic Instagram post featuring his pet bulldog Bagel. The trailer teases appearances from celebrities such as Travis Kelce and Bad Bunny, with Happy Gilmore director Dennis Dugan returning as an actor and executive producer. Meanwhile, the long-awaited sequel is directed by Kyle Newacheck.
