Actor Pedro Pascal has called author J.K. Rowling out for being transphobic. The popular actor called the author a “heinous loser.”

Recently, Justices in London made a new ruling. Specifically, they decided that the definition of the term women relates to only those born as biological females. In addition, Rowling donated to the women’s rights campaign group that pushed the new ruling.

Shortly after the ruling was announced, Rowling posted a picture of herself smoking a cigar on a yacht.

“I love it when a plan comes together,” she wrote in the caption.

According to the Guardian, beloved The Last of Us actor Pedro Pascal left the comment on a video posted by activist Tariq Ra’ouf on Instagram. Specifically, Ra’ouf encouraged viewers to boycott the author’s work.

“It has become our mission as the general public to make sure that every single thing that’s Harry Potter related fails … because that awful disgusting shit, that has consequences,” stated Ra’ouf.

As the Guardian outlines, Pascal is an open advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and often accompanies Lux at red-carpet events. The popular actor has stood by his statements about transgender rights despite the backlash he has previously received from fans.

“A world without trans people has never existed and never will,” he wrote on Instagram.
