Reese Witherspoon’s daughter has made her acting debut. Ava Phillippe is starring in Doctor Odyssey.

The 25-year-old is making her acting debut in the ABC series Doctor Odyssey. Ava is the daughter of  actress Reese Witherspoon. Hence, it left fans excited to see if she will leave the same iconic impression as her mother.

According to the episode synopsis, Ava stars in the episode “Spring Break” where she plays Veronica. Reportedly, Veronica is one of three ”vixens” who have their eyes set on Dr. Max. The other two vixens are also played by celebrity children. For instance, Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris plays Vanessa. Meanwhile, Bill Lawrence’s daughter, Charlotte plays Victoria.

However, fans believe that Ava may be channeling her Mum’s iconic performance as Elle Woods in her acting debut. For instance, in images shared by Disney,  Ava is wearing a pink bikini akin to one worn by her mother in a scene from Legally Blonde. Specifically, fans have compared Ava’s outfit to the pink bikini Elle wears in her Harvard Video essay.

While Ava has not confirmed that her performance or costume is a homage to her mother, the actress has spoken about her love for Reese.

“That is such a privilege to have parents that support you in that way and to want you to be who you truly are meant to be,” Ava told E! News.

Meanwhile, Reece has also been openly supportive of her daughter, even saying how proud she is of her social media.

”Happy birthday to my amazing daughter @avaphillippe who happens to be one of the most genuinely kind-hearted and wise people I know. I love you with all heart. Keep shining your beautiful light my sweet girl,” Witherspoon wrote on Instagram.
