The Royal Family seems to have broken some tension between the family. The family took to social media to wish Prince Harry a Happy Birthday. The message read,” ???? Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!”. The Royal family hasn’t extended birthday wishes to Harry since 2021 after the family publicly dealt with some drama.

The family received a lot of attention in 2018 when Meghan Markle was set to join the family. Before Meghan and Harry’s wedding, stories began circulating that Meghan made Kate Middleton “cry” during a fitting for Princess Charlotte’s flower girl dress. Meghan later claimed during a CBS interview that the situation happened the other way around. “That was a turning point. … The narrative with Kate, it didn’t happen,” Meghan said. “A few days before the wedding, she was upset about flower girl dresses, and it made me cry. It really hurt my feelings. She was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologized.

Tensions between the family continued after that moment, with many issues spanning from the Royal Family making comments towards Meghan to William and Harry getting into physical fights. Many members of the family were accused of being racist towards Meghan and the couple’s eventual children. Overall, it didn’t take much for Harry and Meghan to leave their royal titles and life in the UK. While Harry has seen some of his family since those instances, it’s clear the relationship is not as strong as it used to be. Maybe the family is hoping for a fresh start and will begin to try to form a stronger family relationship between them all.
