According to this article, Spears’ fans are “trolling” Timberlake following the release of his new song, Selfish. How are they doing this exactly? Apparently, they are pushing Spears’ old song up on the charts in order to “spite” Timberlake.

Britney Spears’ Selfish song was released in 2011 and is 13 years old. Following the release of Timberlake’s new comeback single- Selfish– fans took to bringing back Spears’ song to seemingly spite Timberlake, who famously dated Spears in the past.

Spears and Timberlake dated for approximately 3 years almost 2 decades ago, in which Spears seemingly revealed that she was pregnant with Timberlake’s baby during the course of their relationship but got an abortion.
