September 20th, 2024 – Simone Biles shows off a new tattoo.

Simone Biles took some time from her post-Olympics tour this week to get a new finger tattoo, which seems to be a tribute to Jonathan Owens. Biles stopped by Syzygy Precision Tattooing in Phoenix, Arizona, on a brief break from her appearances in the Gold Over America shows. Tattoo artist Sydney Smith etched a tiny “J” into her left hand. While it’s unclear what the significance of the “J” is, the safe guess appears to be it’s an homage to her NFL player husband’s first initial.
Sydney Smith said that in addition to the letter, Simone received a neck tattoo that read, “Made In Heaven.” Both pieces took 90 minutes to complete. Smith also revealed that the meetup came about after the two exchanged direct messages on social media. “It was a great experience,” Smith said about working with Biles, “but I treat all of my clients the same. It’s always a good time getting to do what I love every day!”. Biles wasn’t the only Olympian on the tour to get some fresh ink. Shane Wiskus and Casimir Schmidt got in on the fun as well, going under Jesse Tattoo’s needle. Team USA’s Wiskus reportedly got a tarot card on his leg while Schmidt got the No. 13 on his arm. It looks like Olympians do know how to have fun outside of competition.
