Simone Biles’ biological mother, Shanon, said she’s “very proud of her” after her various Olympic accolades.

August 14, 2024- Simone Biles’ birth mother, Shanon, has come forward to beg for her daughter’s forgiveness after many years apart, according to an exclusive interview with Daily Mail.

According to Daily Mail, Shanon was a drug addict and lost her children to foster care and then to adoption when her father adopted Biles and her sister, Adria.
Shanon, 52, and Biles have not spoken for many years.
“I’m over it already. I can’t keep dwelling on it, when she’s ready, I’m here. I want her to be able to come to me and say ‘Let’s have a sit down, there’s some things I want to know’,” Shanon said.
“I just have to have patience. I want to let her know that I love her and I’m very proud of her,” Shanon continued.
“I was an addict and I will always be an addict. But there’s a way you just have to learn how to stay away from people, places and things, change your routine, change your life,” Shanon said.
“I want her to reach out to me, she’s 27 now and married, and I would’ve liked to been a part of that. I just have to wait for her,” Shanon continued.
The Daily Mail also mentioned that Shanon is currently clean and sober, and still lives in the same house that Biles was raised in until she was taken away at six years old.

Rumours of Biles being pregnant have been spreading all over the internet since she won gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
To date, there has been no announcement from either Biles or her husband, Jonathon Owens, that she is pregnant.
