The TikToker goes on to say that The Weekend reportedly recently told W Magazine that he might stop creating music under The Weeknd. In the interview promoting The Idol, he told the publication that he’s getting to a place where he’s ready to “close The Weeknd chapter.”
“I’ll still make music, maybe as Abel, maybe as The Weeknd. But I still want to kill The Weeknd,” he says. “And I will. Eventually. I’m definitely trying to shed that skin and be reborn.
