Trump showed up to his rally in Wisconsin riding in a branded Garbage Truck.

October 31, 2024- Following the comments made by current president Joe Biden where he referred to Trump supporters as “Garbage”, Trump arrived at his Wisconsin rally donned in a reflective vest, and riding in a garbage truck.

For reference, in response to a Tony Hinchecliff comment during a presidential rally at Madison Square Garden when the comedian compared the island nation to “floating trash”. Biden came out afterward condemning the joke and then comparing supporters of Trump as “Garbage”.

“A speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage,” Mr Biden said. “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.” #uselection

These remarks from the president sparked outrage among voters on both sides. For one, it is understandable that in nature, Hinchecliff as a comedian is known for making inappropriate jokes. This leads many to speculate as to why he was even asked to speak at the rally in the first place. But for the president of the United States to refer to supporters of a separate political party as garbage, some think he has helped the former president’s political efforts with his comments.

Trump would address the statements made by Biden live at his Wisconsin rally.

Trump Garbage Truck

Trump’s garbage stunt was an impressive PR move to bring more voters in Wisconsin, which is a crucial swing state, over to his side. Both Kamala and Trump have been campaigning there consistently throughout the election race attempting to bring voters over to their side to help turn the election in their favor.

Trump seized this opportunity to capitalize on such comments and even stated that “Biden should be ashamed of himself.”

Presidential nominee Kamala Harris has worked to separate herself from the incidents with only 6 days left until the election. When asked about the current president’s comments she replied, “I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for.”

Trump Supporters Garbage

White House secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, held a press conference after Biden’s viral statement. Claiming that the president wasn’t referring to Trump supporters as a whole but instead was referring to the language used to describe the Latino population and island.

Bo French, a GOP chairman, stated in the secretary response, “It amazes me more people aren’t appalled by the outright lies these people tell. We watched the video. He clearly called us garbage. I have a feeling the swing voters are done with this kind of BS.”

Whether or not these comments will sway the election is unclear. But with only 6 days left until the big day, everybody is anxiously awaiting to see how this all plays out.
