Morgan Wallen, a prominent name in the country music scene, made headlines yet again, this time for an alleged incident involving the throwing of a chair from a significant height at Eric Church’s Chief’s Bar in Nashville. The timing of this event was particularly notable as it occurred during the CMT Awards, where numerous country music stars were gathered.
The incident came to light through viral videos showing Morgan Wallen seated in a police car outside the bar. Following this, Wallen was arrested and charged with three felony counts, including reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. His lawyer, Worrick Robinson, seemingly confirmed the charges and emphasized Wallen’s cooperation with law enforcement during the arrest.

According to reports mentioned by US Weekly, Metro Nashville police officers were supposedly stationed outside the bar when a chair fell dangerously close to them, prompting an immediate investigation. Staff members at the bar alleged that Wallen had thrown the chair from a sixth-floor balcony, heightening the seriousness of the situation.
The arrest report provided further details, stating that police had viewed video footage showing Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.” It was also noted that Wallen seemed to laugh off the incident, adding a layer of concern to the situation. Subsequently, Wallen’s bond was set at $15,250, and he is scheduled to appear in court on May 3 to address these charges.

This recent arrest is not Wallen’s first encounter with the law. In May 2020, he faced legal issues after being arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct at Kid Rock’s Nashville bar. However, he was later cleared of all charges related to that incident.

In response, Wallen issued a public apology, expressing regret for his actions and acknowledging the need for growth and understanding. He also mentioned seeking guidance and learning from the Nashville chapter of the NAACP, highlighting his efforts toward personal reflection and accountability.

While he did not win the award, Wallen’s resilience in the face of challenges reflects the complexities of navigating fame and redemption in the entertainment world.
