Scherzinger was credited with helping form the group, One Direction since she is an ex X-Factor judge. The group consisted of Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik. Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.

Campbell then commented with some emojis to express her condolences on the viral photo series posted by Scherzinger.
According to this article by Page Six, back in 2019, Campbell and Payne had allegedly dated for 4 months. This reportedly occurred from January to April of that year.
Payne then went on to date Maya Henry. They got engaged but later broke up before he was linked to his most recent girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
