Ryan Gosling Daughters

As noted in a related article, while at the 2024 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Ryan Gosling spoke with E! News, revealing that his daughters whom he shares with his wife Eva Mendes haven’t seen the Barbie movie. Yet.

Citing his concerns as a father, Gosling joked “I don’t know if you should watch your father as Ken. I don’t know what age is a good age to see your father do that.” Saying that the character gets “pretty crazy.”

Gosling, who plays Ken in the film that received a score of 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, shared that his daughters, Esmerelda 9, and Amada 7, visited him on set and went to Barbieland. His daughters were able to see “little parts of it” and “they came to set one day when I did a big musical number.”

A movie for his daughters

Even though his daughters haven’t seen the entire movie yet, Gosling thinks they loved it because of their newfound love for Barbie: “We would go to Target, and then they’d slowly go by the Barbie aisle” the Barbie actor reportedly also told E! News.
