Rihanna Talks Life After Having Her Son, Super Bowl Performance Details And More
During an Apple Music Panel, Rihanna dished out some Super Bowl performance details, her life after having her son, and possibly new music.

The internet can hardly wait to tune in to this year’s Super Bowl. This will be Rihanna’s first live performance since her 2016 ‘Anti’ world tour.
During the Apple Music Panel, Riri made it clear that she wants this performance to be 100% perfect. Even if that means creating 39 different setlists in order to find the right one.
She told the panel director, Nadeska Alexis, that her reputation is at stake and is all based on this performance.
Which is completely understandable. This will be her first live performance in years, in front of thousands of people, and live on television to millions… No pressure!

Life After The Birth Of Her Son
While talking about the upcoming Super Bowl performance, she mentions her feelings about doing the Super Bowl while just becoming a new mom.
“It feels like it could have only been now. I mean, when I first got the call to do it again this year, I was like, ‘You sure? I’m three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this,'” Ri says, referencing when she turned down the offer to perform at the Super Bowl in the past.
“But when you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world. You can do anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world,” says Rihanna. “So, as scary as that was… there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all, and it’s important for me to do this year. It’s important for representation. It’s important for my son to see that.”
Rihanna and ASAP Rocky welcomed their baby boy into the world in May 2022. Although the couple has not disclosed a name, Riri took to TikTok and shared this sweet video of her son.

New Music In the Future?
This has been the question floating around since the announcement of the Halftime performance… Will we be getting an album from the ‘Work’ singer anytime soon?
During the panel, Riri was asked about any possible music plans for the new year. Although she did not give anything explicit, she did say this,
“Musically, I’m feeling open. I’m feeling open to exploring, discovering, creating things that are new, things that are different, things that are off, weird, might never make sense to my fans,” she teased. “I just want to play. I just want to have fun with music.”

Her last studio album was released in 2016, Anti. Even though there is nothing set in stone yet in regards to another album, never say never.
