According to People, an insider stated that Jamie is “steadily improving”, but no other details have been added to the statement. The news about his complication were made public earlier this week, on Wednesday, and no representative of the actor disclosed more information at that time.

In a recent post on Instagram, Corinne Foxx informed the actor’s fans about her father’s condition. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” she wrote in the post. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.” Corinne continued.

One day before the incident, the actor was seen on the set of his upcoming movie Back in Action.  However, the shooting of the movie was canceled on the day Jamie Foxx was hospitalized, as People noted here.

According to TMZ, the filming of the movie continues even though the actor has not returned. The producers are now working with a stunt double, as Foxx is still undergoing medical tests. His stunt double, Travis Parker, was seen shooting a scene with one of the movie’s protagonists, Cameron Diaz.
