According to CNN, actor Jamie Foxx is currently hospitalized after he experienced a “medical complication”, as his daughter explained in a recent Instagram post. However, Corinne Foxx did not mention what exactly happened to her father.

“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne wrote, as noted here. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.” she continued.

When CNN asked Alan Nierob, a representative of Foxx, to provide more details on the condition, he refused to disclose anything that has not been added to the post. “Nothing more, at this time, than what was posted,” he told CNN.

Why was Jamie Foxx hospitalized?

As TMZ notes, Jamie’s Foxx condition was a “medical emergency” that made his family take him to the hospital immediately. As seen in the article, a source stated that the actor is “communicating now, and that’s good news.” According to TMZ’s recent updates on the incident, the actor will spend a few more days in the hospital, as doctor still need to figure out what has happened to him.

PageSix mentioned that the actor was seen on the movie set of his upcoming movie Back in Action just one day before he was hospitalized.
