Cole Prevost Dog Video Reddit is trending, but why?

August 2, 2024– According to some news sources online, Cole Prevost is reportedly going viral after a video surfaced showing the young man (15, from Louisiana) abusing his hunting dog as noted here.

People and animal advocates were shocked to learn about what had happened to the dog as seen in the viral clip that was circulating online.

Allegedly, the graphic footage- which HOLR will not be linking to- showcases Prevost beating his dog. The clip is supposedly from last year and the dog was supposedly being trained to hunt ducks. In the clip that just now went viral, Prevost can allegedly be seen hitting the dog and reportedly threatening to “burn” it.

The clip allegedly went viral online on platforms such as TikTok, in which people immediately contacted local authorities after the footage came to light. As the article describes, a petition was created to have the animal removed from Prevost’s home after the incident was brought about.

Prevost and other teens have since been arrested as a result of what happened in the video. One of the other teens is the one who reportedly taped what happened while the other witnessed it and seemingly did nothing to help the dog. The teens are now allegedly being charged relating to animal cruelty.

One user who commented on a Reddit thread online discussing the incident claimed that Prevost was allegedly umped after being bailed out of jail by his mom following his actions in the video toward the dog.

It is unclear what happened to the dog following the video featuring Prevost, but it is alleged that authorities found the dog in the home to be seemingly healthy and in a happy disposition despite the video clip that surfaced.

The dog has now reportedly been rehomed and an investigation is underway surrounding what happened.
