Lorde has announced her new album, Virgin, will be released in June. Most of the tracks remain a mystery. However, Lorde has confirmed that she worked with some big names for her next project.

Lorde has released her first single in four years. The new track, titled ”What Was That,” is a heartbreak anthem about the highs and lows of a past relationship.

“MDMA in the back garden, blow our pupils up / We kissed for hours straight / Well, baby, what was that,” she sings.

The acclaimed singer has announced that the single is a part of her next album, Virgin.

For instance, Lorde produced the album with acclaimed music producer Jim-E Stack. However, it has now been reported that Nigro, Fabiana Palladino, Inc. No World’s Andrew Aged, Buddy Ross, and Blood Orange’s Devonté Hynes also worked on the album.
