Gigi Hadid has been a fashion model since the age of two, that’s quite some time! She recently revealed that she has been working on making the leap to the other side. The realm behind-the-scenes of the clothes that are displayed in store windows and shelves, before the runways and before everyday people get their hands on them. Gigi Hadid just outed that she has been working on designing her own clothing line and brand!
Although her Instagram is our only clue to this as the brand’s website is not up yet and there are no official press releases as of yet. Her Instagram post and bio confirmed that she is founding and directing a fashion line. From the looks of her followers’ reactions, if there was a waiting list, it would be without a doubt that millions of people would be lining up! Everyone is speculating about what’s in store and people cannot wait.
On August 4, 2022. The famous supermodel, fashion personality and mother sold the world with her endeavours. She shared a post collection of 10 images on Instagram that shows what she has been working on and it is a beautiful sight to see. She shared photos of many colour swatches, cashmere textiles and materials, a collection of knitwear fabrics, vision boards and try-on fittings on her very self! Many pictures include knitwear which heavily hints at this as a major theme for her line. The pictures show a lot of yellow, orange and green colours foreshadowing the bright aesthetic of the brand. Gigi Hadid captioned the Instagram post as: “been working on something, with love, @guestinresidence” followed by a yellow heart and thread emoji.

Moreover, Gigi Hadid updated her status on her Instagram bio by writing “founder, creative director @guestinresidence.” She also linked the company’s website which leads to a “coming soon” page.
To see a celebrity come out with a clothing line is great as it allows them to venture into the business field which offers more resources and credible products to the world; especially reliable when it comes from an all-time supermodel that has proven herself as very fashionable. With that being said, who wouldn’t want a piece of clothing she designed? Of course, time will tell what the future of her line holds and we are hoping she brings in looks that shine!
