Gigi Hadid made her breakthrough in 2014 after walking the ramp of the New York Fashion Week. She quickly reached the top of the model charts with her California girl good looks. The bonafide-bombshell style and knowing how to dress her curves, she has it all.
How does she take the streets by storm? Let’s find out.
Gigi was serving the monochromatic trend at this time. She spent the holidays in Pennsylvania, and then returned to step out in blue. She was seen wearing a baby-blue brushed-flannel coat by Copenhagen-based label ‘Munthe,’ over a frayed, fitted denim jacket and roomy jeans with cutouts. The coat had long comfy sleeves, rolled up expertly by the model. She accessorised the look with white sneakers from the Reebok x Victoria Beckham collection. sunglasses with green lenses by Amavii, resting perfectly on her face, and a silk face mask by ‘Night.’ She is also carrying two bright blue cups coincidentally, which compliment her already perfect outfit.
Gigi is smiling in this outfit, and so are we because of this flawless aesthetic. Whether she had a glass of red wine is unknown, but this ensemble is screaming red wine. Gigi is in a sheer vine turtleneck over a bra in the same colour. She is also rocking a pair of high-waisted flair trousers. Weirdly enough, the unironed look brings a different dimension to the leg-wear. The cherry on top on this garb was the gold-heavy accessories worn by the model. Gold-crescent hoops by Lili Claspe, and the t-bar chunky chain necklace by Missoma fill up the empty space left by the plain turtleneck. A pair of pointed python boots definitely doesn’t hurt the outfit.
The streets of Milan doesn’t know what hit them. Gigi’s triple-layered look begins with a red and purple striped turtleneck tucked in a pair of under cropped jeans. A deep plum blazer by Paul & Joeblazer perfeclt matches the turtleneck. The last layer is a brown-ish Christian Dada corduroy double-breasted overcoat with subtle split shoulders and a hint of blue. The finishing touch is on Gigi’s feet, featuring Fendi mesh monogram boots tucked under the jeans. To accessorise, she is carrying a tiny micro purse, and small cat-eye sunglasses. The decision to leave out jewellery was a good one.
You must surely think of Eminem AKA Slim Shady when you see someone in a bandana. However, Gigi is giving vibes of a teenage girl in the simplest outfit on this page. She is in a cozy oversized rib-knit sweater. The sweater with cone shaped sleeves is inside the cropped jeans from the front. To get rid of the plain nature of the outfit, Gigi has gone for gold-embellished mid-calf boots. The accessorise on her are cat eye sunglasses, and the black bandana. The outfit wouldn’t be what it is without the two blonde braids falling down perfectly on black. The contrast is faultless.
