Olu Fashanu girlfriend is trending after a video of NFL Draft Day started circulating online.

According to this TikTok video posted by user @reyahthelastdragon, an NFL Draft Day moment captured on video of Olu Fashanu- an American football player- and his family and friends is going viral. In the clip, Fashanu gets drafted by the New York Jets but people allegedly noticed something unusual about the video.

In the clip, it seems as though Fashanu’s mother is not letting his girlfriend get to him to congratulate him on his Draft Day moment. The girlfriend can be seen reaching over the mother multiple times to pat Fashanu on the leg while the mother hugs and praises her son. The TikToker notes that everyone is seemingly getting “second-hand embarrassment” from the clip as the girlfriend is trying to celebrate her boyfriend- but seems unable to do so.

The TikToker also notes that at no point during the clip does Fashanu get up to hug or acknowledge his girlfriend during the celebratory moment. Allegedly, the TikToker claims that Fashanu’s behavior can be seen as a “giant red flag” to the girlfriend after news of this clip took over the internet.

The TikToker does-however- point out that the mother does finally embrace the girlfriend at the end of the clip, but we do not get to see Fashanu acknowledge his girlfriend or her desire to celebrate him in the moment.
