Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh got a little carried away while shooting a steamy scene in A24’s “We Live in Time.”
October 8, 2024- While on the press tour for A24’s newest film “We Live in Time,” Andrew Garfield revealed that a sex scene with his co-star Florence Pugh went “further” than intended.

Garfield and Pugh star in the upcoming romance film “We Live in Time,’ which required them to film several intimate scenes together.
While speaking with host Josh Horowitz on his podcast “Happy Sad Confused,” Garfield revealed that the pair experienced an awkward moment with a cameraman on set.

“We do the first take of this very intimate, passionate sex scene. And it’s a closed set, which means it’s only me and Florence in a room together and the camera operator, who is our DP, a very lovely man called Stewart,” Garfield told Horowitz.
“The scene becomes passionate and we choreographed it and we get into it, as it were, and we go a little bit further than we were meant to just because we never heard ‘cut’ and it’s feeling safe and we’re like, ‘OK, we’ll go to the next thing and the next thing, we’ll let this progress,” Garfield continued.
“After a while, it felt like we were telepathically saying to each other ‘This definitely feels like a longer take.’ I look up and in the corner is Stewart and our boom operator. Stewart has the camera by his side and he’s turned into the wall,” Garfield said.
We Live in Time Release Date
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and is to be released in theatres on October 11th.

Although Pugh has not confirmed the relationship, rumours have been circulating around the possibility that Pugh could be dating “Peaky Blinders” star Finn Cole.
According to ELLE, Pugh confirmed that she is in a new relationship to British Vogue just days after Cole and Pugh were photographed leaving the after-party of the London premiere of “The Perfect Couple.”
