Benedict Bridgerton is officially the next eligible bachelor in Season 4 of Bridgerton, Netflix confirms.
July 24, 2024- Netflix has confirmed that Season 4 of the hit-TV series, “Bridgerton,” will highlight the love story of Benedict Bridgerton.
Benedict, played by Luke Thompson, has typically been a side character in the previous seasons which is why fans are raving about the recent announcement.
When is Season 4 of Bridgerton Coming Out
The series took to Instagram to make the announcement with a short teaser trailer.

Bridgerton Netflix said, “It has been brought to this author’s attention that perhaps it is time to unmask the newest suitor of the marriage mart… Benedict Bridgerton’s story is coming next season.”
One Instagram user said, “Let’s aim to hit closer to the book on this one ya?”
Another wrote, “Please pay heed to your audience. Please don’t make the same mistake as last season. Give Benedict justice. Thank you.”
Although season three of “Bridgerton” was a commercial success, fans ultimately criticized the showrunner’s decision to change a major plotline for one of the Bridgerton children.

According to IGN, “This season is overstuffed with subplots diminishing the love story at its core and giving the hunt for Lady Whistledown an anticlimactic ending.”
