An Audience with Adele was a star-studded event- as well as bringing plenty of tears and laughter along the way. Adele, the musical superstar, sang songs from her new album 30 along with some classic tracks such as Rolling In The Deep and Hometown Glory.
After being off the air for nearly seven years, the British entertainment show, An Audience With, was revived for one reason and that reason is THE Adele. This super popular program returned just to host Adele and her performance of her latest album, 30.
Celebrity guests like Dua Lipa, Dame Emma Thompson, Idris Alba, Emma Watson and Naomi Campbell, made this one of the most anticipated and iconic events of the year. Adele performed chart-topping songs like Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like You, and the best of her new album.
This event took over social media with the iconic moments that took place. Dame Emma Thompson was living her best life during Adele’s performance and someone was lucky enough to capture it. Dame Emma Thompson was caught dancing and singing her heart out, perfectly encompassing how we all feel about Adele’s melodic masterpieces.
Dame Emma Thompson as a question to Adele during the show, asking what motivated her when she was younger, and she gave a very heartfelt answer about a teacher she had as a young girl. Adele burst into tears in complete shock when she discovered that the teacher was in attendance. After all the crying, Adele needed to have her makeup touched up which lead to the hilarious British talk show host and comedian, Alan Carr, taking over and singing his own hilarious rendition of Make You Feel My Love. This reuniting will make you cry harder than Adele’s powerful music!
Adele has always been one to engage in some form of banter with her audience. When asked about her idols by Ted Lasso Hannah Waddingham, Adele revealed a few names but of course in the Adele way, there was a twist!
This was one of the events of the year and if the one you will definitely want to watch or at the very least watch the highlights! Adele’s latest album 30 is streaming on all platforms and is just as gut-wrenchingly good as her previous albums.
