Adele Cancels Announcement Illness
World-renowned singer-songwriter Adele announced in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that several shows in her Las Vegas residency, Weekends with Adele, have to be postponed. Adele explained how an illness that she had “at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break” left her with an illness that has “taken a toll on my voice.”
“We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information asap,” the singer wrote to fans.
The statement also included the exact dates that were postponed: “1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 & 30 March,”
Adele Las Vegas Residency 2024 Ceasars Palace
Adele first announced her residency at Ceasars Palace via social media back in November 2021. However, the following January, the singer told fans in an Instagram video that the show had to be postponed.
“[w]e’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID,” Adele tearfully explained in the video.
Those shows were rescheduled for November until March 2022. An extension of her residency was announced from June until November of 2023; this latest round of shows is part of Weekends with Adele: The Final Shows.
