On February 1st, millions of people will celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Tiger. The tiger is a symbol of leadership, respect, and courage. The tiger acts assertively, is energetic, outspoken and takes risks. Dr. Martens is celebrating with a new limited-edition Lunar New Year Collection.

The limited-edition Lunar New Year Collection that landed in January, has taken the 1460 boot and the 1461 shoe has been reworked with tiger stripe camo-inspired uppers and a new pattern created by Dr. Martens in-house team in Camden, London. Both pairs are detailed with hidden botanical graphics and tiger motifs and enhanced with laser etching and flocking details.

This Lunar New Year limited-edition collection comes with a faux gold tiger tooth lace charm, gold eyelets and a popped red sock-liner. As always, each pair is welted on a tough Dr. Martens sole and finished with the classic yellow welt stitching. The 1460 has a popped red outsole, while the 1461 shoes have a classic smoke sole. This collection will give you the fierce confidence of a tiger in any outfit you wear.

Dr. Martens classic 1461 shoe has been reimagined to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Dr. Martens smooth leather has been etched and flocked with camo tiger stripe and tiger motifs. Completed with a faux gold tiger claw charm and eyelets. All of Dr. Martens traditional build quality is on show with Goodyear welted soles punched in with their signature yellow stitching. Durable, strong, and built to last.

The 1460 was re-designed for the brave and fearless with an eye-catching tiger stripe camo, laser etching and flocked detailing. Built on top of a unique red outsole to give you more power with every step. Born on 01.04.60, hence why it is named the 1460, for over six decades this 8-eye work boot has become iconic.
