Emmy Nominations for 2024 were announced today via live stream from the Television Academy’s Emmy website.

July 18, 2024 – The 76th Primetime Emmy nominees were announced this morning in Hollywood, by actor Tony Hale, actress Sheryl Lee Ralph and Television Academy Chair, Chris Abrego. Netflix dominated with the most nods.

What Are The Emmy Awards Awarded For

The Emmys is Television’s highest achievement award for both daytime and primetime programs.

Ralph, an actress on the show Abbott Elementary, was surprised to learn that she received another nomination, for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Ralph won an Emmy last year in the same category that she is nominated for this year. Hale has won two Emmys, for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series in 2013 and 2015.

By network, Netflix had the most nominations with 103 in total. F/X with 93 and HBO with 91 rounding the top three streaming platforms.

TV shows, Shogun with 25 noms, and Bear with 23 noms  lead the pack.

The Apple+ drama series The Morning Show, grabbed half of the nominations for supporting roles.

Where Can We Watch The 2024 Emmys

The 76th Emmy Awards will be televised live on Sunday, Sept. 15, from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. ET/5:00 to 8:00 p.m. PT on ABC and streamed the next day on Hulu.

Due to the writers and actors’ strike in 2023, the Television Academy has accompanied the industry by making up for last year. Held two award seasons in one year. The 2023 Emmys were broadcast in January 2024. The 2024 will roll out this fall.
