The internet is abuzz with rumors that singer FKA Twigs has mocked Taylor Swift in her latest Instagram post, causing Swifties to get upset and come to Taylor’s defence. The post in question is FKA Twigs allegedly recreating a clip from the Kanye West music video where fans claim Taylor was portrayed “naked and humiliated” in the original Kanye video for his song Famous. In the video posted on Instagram by FKA Twigs, it shows FKA Twigs lying in bed with friends laughing with the song Famous playing in the bacgkround.
In the original Famous music video, people claimed it portrayed a “seemingly naked Taylor Swift” lying in bed next to Kanye West. The Kanye West Famous song was at the centre of controversy and a feud between Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Taylor at the time of its release.

Taylor Swift was upset about Kanye West’s song “Famous” due to its lyrics. In the song, Kanye refers to Taylor Swift with the line: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**** famous.”
The controversy arose because Kanye West claimed that he had obtained Taylor Swift’s approval for these lyrics, suggesting that she was aware of and fine with the content. However, Taylor Swift and her representatives maintained that she was not aware of the specific derogatory term used in the song (“that b****”), nor did she approve of being referred to in such a manner. This dispute sparked public attention and a heated back-and-forth between Kanye, Taylor, and their respective supporters, leading to a public fallout and a lot of media attention. Later, additional recordings surfaced that seemed to support Swift’s claim that she wasn’t fully briefed on the song’s lyrics before its release.

FKA Twigs and Taylor Swift have never had a public feud and in fact FKA has previously stated about Taylor Swift, ““I met Taylor Swift, that was fun. She said she liked my music, which was nice. She’s amazing, an amazing artist.” While she has also said in an interview with Billboard magazine, “I think Taylor Swift is great, but I wouldn’t necessarily think, ‘Oh my god, I have to be friends with her.”
While Swifties are commenting on FKA Twigs latest post, calling her out. Others are coming to FKA Twigs defence and saying that it wasn’t ill intended. Neither artist has commented on this latest drama.
