  • 2 oz Flor de Caña 12 Year Rum
  • Top with Eggnog
  • Dash Cinnamon
  • Dash Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon stick and anise to garnish

Gingerbread Rum Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz Flor De Caña 12 Year Rum
  • 1 oz Gingerbread Syrup
  • 1 Orange Slice
  • Cranberries for garnish
  • Build in glass over ice, stir and serve.

Gingerbread Syrup

  • ¼ cup brown sugar lightly packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup water
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium size saucepan, combine the ingredients and heat over medium heat, stirring until combined. Bring to a slow boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes – stirring occasionally.  Let cool 5 minutes before using.
