Friends actress Lisa Kudrow has revealed that she has discovered a note from her deceased co-star Matthew Perry.

January 10, 2024- As outlined on CNN, Kudrow reveals that she discovered a long-forgotten note from Perry on the set of The Drew Barrymore show. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, Perry died because of the effects of ketamine before drowning. Perry passed away at the age of 54 in October 2023.

Kudrow and Perry became famous for starring as Phoebe Buffay and Chandler Bing in the iconic nineties sitcom Friends. The cast that played the main characters have all become successful actors and celebrities. For instance, Kudrow stars in the dark comedy No Good Deed. Courtney Cox also found success in the Scream films. Meanwhile, David Schwimmer is starring in a recent adaptation of the Goosebumps books. However, each actor paid tribute to Perry in different social media posts after his death.

According to CNN, Kudrow wrote the following on her Instagram page to celebrate the life of her friend and co-star.
“Thank you for making me laugh so hard at something you said, that my muscles ached, and tears poured down my face EVERY DAY.” “Thank you for your open heart in a six-way relationship that required compromise. And a lot of ‘talking.’ Thank you for showing up at work when you weren’t well and then, being completely brilliant. Thank you for the best 10 years a person gets to have.”

According to NBC News, Kudrow revealed to Barrymore and the audience that the note was hidden in a cookie jar from the show after Barrymore asked the actress if she ever stole anything on the set. Perry apparently stole the prop and gave it to Kudrow as a gift. The actress did not reveal the note’s content but while reflecting on it, she told Barrymore that “timing is everything.‘”
