Lynja was a popular chef on TikTok with the username, @cookingwithlynja. She made a lot of cooking content and videos in a “fun and unique way” as the TikToker notes.
Many people on TikTok also found her to be a grandmother figure.

On January 1, Lynja sadly passed away in New Jersey. Her daughter claimed that Lynja lost a battle with Esophageal Cancer.
Since her passing, her family repeatedly kept her social media channel active as she had clips filmed and ready to go, prior to her passing. As a result, recent videos that were posted following Lynja’s death confused fans as she had already passed but there was still content going up.
Lynja was also a mother to four children and a grandmother.
