During her concert in Las Vegas this weekend, Miranda Lambert stopped the show when she saw some concertgoers taking selfies. A fan in the crowd captured the moment when Miranda seemed irritated that some people in the audience were seemingly not paying attention to her song, Tin Man, as they were taking selfies.

The country singer had just started the song when she chose to pause the concert. As a response, several people left the show just after she ended her speech and continued the show.

What did Miranda Lambert say?

“I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry. These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit. Sorry, I don’t like it. At all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.” she told the crowd, as seen in the clip below.

Miranda Lambert Controversy

According to NBC News, one of the people who was part of the group Miranda called out during the concert addressed the incident.

“It was 30 seconds at most. We took the picture quickly and were going to sit back down.” Adela Calin told the outlet over the phone. “It felt like I was back at school with the teacher scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to sit down back in my place. I feel like she was determined to make us look like we were young, immature and vain. But we were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture.” she continued.

Several people commented on the incident on TikTok. “I’d be pissed !!!! If she did that they paid there tickets in support and are excited to be there and you did this”, one person wrote.
